Lough Gara Annual Pike Competition

Hi Rambling Anglers,
Well that was a great successful day and a large turn out of anglers came and supported are annual event loads of fish were landed. On the day there was a Irish Specimen Pike landed and returned safely.
A big thank you to Michael Beirne & Ruth Egan for a busy day weighing fish, also a big thank you to Michelle Sharkey, Lucy Garvin and Michaela Beirne for making sure everyone had enough refreshments. A big thank you to Diarmuid Beirne for doing a great job of DJ keeping everyone entertained with his choice of music.
Thank you to Cj Greene and The Market Yard, thanks to Tim Gleeson for his generator keeping the noise going all day. A big thank you to the members that pushed out boats and landed boats.
It was also great to have a top photographer Mick Flanagan from Irish Angler Magazine, thank you very much for taking photographs of the big fish which Anthony Egan landed that caused a great excitement. keep an eye out for them!!
So Ramblers lets get back into Rambling again and hit the hot spots that we have planned, see you all there!
