On the 16th of October 2011 the Boyle Rambling Anglers held there annual Lough Gara Competition on the day 64 fisher men/fisher women fished. 1st prize went to Eamon Craven with a fish weighing over 22lb 2nd prize Francis Mc Glynn and 3rd prize Michael Diffley. Boyle Rambling Anglers would like to say a big thank you to Ardcarne Garden Centre and The Railway Bar for there very generous sponsorship and also a big thank you to everyone that helped out and made the day a big success.
